Dear Diary,

when music is played under the trees on large green fields, people enjoy the sunset on the park benches with a glass of wine in their hands, and I hear joyful murmurs and laughter from every alley in the city, I know: this is Lisbon. 🇵🇹   

With me, Lisbon has one more fan. Here I have learned to let go and let my soul unwind. Here you can simply enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the cafes and take some time out without worrying about the waiting time. The flair in Lisbon is relaxed and refreshingly different. 

My friends are visiting me this weekend, so I´ve planned an unforgettable city trip for us. Lisbon has many secret treasures: Colorful houses, picturesque alleys and numerous sights. We start on Saturday with a delicious brunch at Café da Garagem, so that we can discover the city of the seven hills afterwards strengthened. Our must-sees include the breathtaking main church Sé Patriarcal, the Torre de Belém and the mystical Elevador de Santa Justa. In between, though, we'll stroll into the vibrant heart of downtown Lisbon to visit the Praça do Comércio for calming down a little bit. For dinner we go to my favorite restaurant, the O Corvo. Later we can enjoy the sunset with a few drinks on the Miradouro da Graça. On Sunday, we take the train to the mile-long sandy beach in Costa da Caparica to hopefully get a sunkissed tan.

Of course, stylish outfits are part of a girls trip. Since it's going to be a bit cloudy on Saturday, I opted for a knit top with cargo pants and matching accessories. Then in the evening I put on a backless top with white cargo pants, which is classy and cool at the same time. Both outfits I found at NEW YORKER in Rua Cidade de Bolama 4, they are definitely among my absolute favorite looks. For Sunday I have chosen a set of blouse and shorts, this light look spreads total summer vibes and is therefore the perfect beach style. I have to buy this quickly tomorrow and then the girls weekend can finally start!

I hope Lisbon enchants my girls as much as it does me. The city has its very own magic that I haven't experienced anywhere before. For me, Lisbon is the sunny city that invites you to dream.
