Endless beaches, blue skies and tropical flair - Bali is a dream destination for sun worshippers!
You're tired of disappointing summers? Then we have the ultimate place for you to escape to: Bali! The 5.561m² large island is located in the Indian Ocean and belongs to the world's largest island state Indonesia. Almost 15,000 km away from Germany you can leave the cold behind and experience a real summer feeling. We give you 4 ultimate tips for your stay in Bali:

1. Beach babe

Do you want to fulfill your personal Baywatch dream and walk through the white sand in a sexy bathing suit? Well, the "Dream Beach" on Nusa Lembongan, a small island only 12 km away from the south-eastern coast of Bali, is literally a dream come true. You can reach it in about 1 hour by ferry from Sanur, but beware: the crossing can be a bit shaky! Also the Echo Beach in the west of Bali is a dream come true. It is considered to be the surf hotspot of the island.

2. Island of the Gods:

Bali offers much more than just white sandy beaches, which you otherwise only know as wallpaper on our laptop. The unique ancient Hindu culture of the island can be seen in a variety of temples that are literally everywhere. Particularly worth seeing is the sea temple Pura Tanah Lot, which lies on a rock off the coast in the southwest. The temple complex Taman Ayun in Mengwi, which was built in 1634, is also worth seeing. It is located on a river island in the hinterland.

3. Exotic Snack:

Instead of chips and schnitzel in the tourist restaurants, you should try local products. For example tiny bananas with a special aroma or kelapa muda, a freshly whipped, young coconut. If you want to try the regional cuisine, try Pepesan Ikan (fish steamed with spices in a banana leaf) and a portion of Bubuh Injin (pudding made of black sticky rice) as  dessert. In the "Cafe Organic" in Seminyak you will definitely become addicted to "Nalu Bowls", coconut halves filled with fresh fruit and muesli.

4. Animal Wildlife:

On Bali you get very close to animals that you normally only see in the zoo. In the "Monkey Forest" in Ubud, you will be surrounded by a hundred gray-haired macaques. Ubud is 30 km away from Bali's capital Denpasar and also offers many other great highlights such as temples and rice terraces. Tip: Here it is worth renting a scooter!

Before leaving for the islands, you need the right outfit. A bikini or swim shorts are obligatory, loose fitting summer dresses or shirts a must. Packed your suitcase? Then get on the plane - in about 17 hours you will be at Bali and definitely experience your dream holiday! New wallpapers for mobile phone and laptop included.
